Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE)

Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE), including the procedure atomizes parts of the FUE procedure. FUE hair transplant is basically minimal scar surgery. FUE is abbreviated as follicular Unit Extraction technique. In FUE, the follicular unit of an individual is removed that will be done under local anesthesia. The whole procedure usually takes 5 to 6 hours. These extracted grafts are then transplanted in the recipient area (baldness). FUE is an advanced hair restoration surgery but less painful technique. Step by step technique Following are steps of procedure for the procedure: 1. The surgeon takes a graft that consists of 1 to 4 hairs from any part of the body. Before extraction of the grafts, donor area is trimmed or shaved usually in follicular unit extraction procedure. 2. Then he will remove follicles from the donor area of the body by using a micro punch. 3. He makes a series of small cuts with a tiny needle or blade that is very sharp and then he will insert the extracted follicles in these tiny slits. 4. After that he will clean the affected area. 5. The surgeon gives the instruction to the patient and suggests to follow these instructions strictly for quick recovery. 6. The procedure of Follicular unit excision is very easy and quick. It saves both time and power of the surgeon. It also saves time for patients.
